Competitive Dance
Being on MORE2Dance Competition Team is a wonderful opportunity to develop technical dance skills while making great friends and building confidence. Our dance team experiences the joy of performing at various dance competition events in the area and working together with their team to learn and grow as dancers. This is a full school-year commitment, August through June, and requires regular attendance in classes and rehearsals.

Rising Stars
This is the perfect introduction to the MORE2Dance competition dance team!
With a focus on performance skills, fun, and friendship, M2D Rising Stars is the perfect opportunity for early dancers to grow confidence and dance skills.
Beginner/Intermediate dancers. Prior competitive experience isn’t a requirement. Ongoing work on technique, musicality, body awareness, choreography, precision and performance.
Audition Week
• Competition Mini Camp Week - June 5, 2023 - June 8, 2023
Choreography Week
• August 31, 2023 - August 3, 2023
Requirements:
• Must dance 1 day per week ballet, jazz, hip hop
• Additional optional classes Acro
• 90 minute Saturday rehearsals
• Commitment August through June
• Annual Competition Team Fee
Shining Stars
Our younger intermediate dancers. Prior competitive experience isn’t a requirement. Progressive work on technique, musicality, body awareness, choreography, precision and performance.

Choreography Week
• August 31, 2023 - August 3, 2023
Requirements:
• Must dance a minimum of 2 days per week ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop
• Ages 11 & 12 must be in Company Dance
• 90 minute Saturday rehearsal
• Commitment August through June
• Annual Competition Team Fee
Stars
Intermediate/Advanced dancers. Prior competitive experience isn’t a requirement. Must be able to execute sound technique, genre styling, musicality, body awareness, choreography, precision and performance.

• Must be in Company Dance
• Additional optional classes Acro, Company Hip Hop

Commitment
When you commit to the MORE2Dance competition team you are committing to the entire season from June 2023 to June 2024. You are committing to dance in the summer.
Rehearsals will be on Saturdays.
As many know you, many competitions for the 2024 calendar year have yet to release the dates of their events. We do our best to evaluate the Eagle County School Calendar with the various competition calendars to try to avoid conflict, however with all of the time off in Eagle County Schools we cannot always match the dates perfectly.
